Camera_hotel is a carefully, professionally and completely renovated family house from the 18th century, providing its tenants and guests with all the comforts of home and historical splendour acquired through the centuries. In the 18th century this stone beauty was built as a modest home of Franciscan priests, extended over the centuries and about fifty years ago it became a secular retreat for our family. Today it rightfully holds the label of the Heritage Hotel, with the interior decoratedwith a rich collection of original photographs by renowned Croatian and world photographers. Therefore, this beautiful family-run heritage hotel is also the gallery of photography, constantly expanding its collection. Camera_hotel is situated in the heart of the city, in the historic folk settlement of Veli Varoš, characterized by picturesque traditional architecture and it is only two-minute walk from the famous antique Diocletian’s palace built in the 3rd century. It is important to note that Camera_hotel is the only family heritage hotel in Split fully accessible for wheelchair users.
